Unique features of
Harbour Terrace
The sensational Harbour Terrace offers sweeping panoramic views across Sydney Harbour and city skyline. The beautiful alfresco space is spectacular for drinks, dining or canapés, and can accommodate for up to 78 seated guests or 180 standing. The terrace is fitted with a heated and retractable roof, allowing the area to be used all year round.
Harbour View Lawn
The Harbour View Lawn is one of the city’s most idyllic gardens situated on the embankment below Gunners’ Barracks. With magnificent views over the harbour, this a delightful and serene area to say ‘I Do’. This area requires a permit that can be obtained through Sydney Harbour Trust. Ceremonies here suit up to 180 guests.
Sandstone Courtyard
Centrally located and secluded within the venue, the magical Sandstone Courtyard makes a wonderful outdoor ceremony or dancing area under the canopy of twinkling fairy lights and the star-filled night sky. Boasting a tranquil and romantic setting, the space features magnificent architecture and a sandstone backdrop.
Main Dining Room
Steeped in history, the beautifully restored Main Dining Room features custom-designed wallpaper and opulent crystal chandeliers. It's an elegant and sophisticated space for celebrations.
The Drawing Room
Step back in time in the perfectly elegant and private Drawing Room. Set the room as a sophisticated lounge area or transform it into a wedding reception dance floor.

About Us
A little bit of our history
Originally used as a barracks for artillerymen operating a battery on Georges Head, Gunners’ Barracks is now one of Sydney’s most spectacular waterfront wedding venues offering several unique spaces for wedding ceremonies and receptions.
Constructed in 1873, the sandstone building has since been magnificently restored into a popular restaurant, tea room, and function venue filled with custom luxury furnishings and opulent Waterford chandeliers.
Nestled in Mosman, just 25 minutes from the city CBD, and overlooking the iconic Sydney Harbour, the waterfront wedding venue is an ideal backdrop for such celebratory events.
